Spot aims to inform and educate the members of the public about the life and work of these extraordinary artists. Spot respects and values the artistic legacy and the intellectual property created and owned by the members of this vibrant and influential artistic community, from the artists to the photographer, film makers, and reports who documented the work of the inspiring women. Fair Use Definition

Fair use is a doctrine in United States copyright law that allows limited use of copyrighted material without requiring permission from the rights holders, such as commentary, criticism, news reporting, research, teaching or scholarship. It provides for the legal, non-licensed citation or incorporation of copyrighted material in another author’s work under a four-factor balancing test.
